We’re not quite to the end of the season, but with only two rounds remaining we have our champions, we know that Levante are going down while Deportivo Alavés, Cádiz and Mallorca will battle for survival. Cádiz has Real and Alavés while Mallorca face 12th place Rayo Vallecano and 9th place Osasuna. Alavés does not control their own rate - they’ll need Real to beat a Cádiz, but their road to survival includes two matches against fellow drop zone sides. Leaving aside those four teams, there are 16 we can scout today where we know players are returning to a Sorare-scored league (or at least that their current team are….summer transfers are fickle).
Summer shopping is an ideal time to find Sorare discounts. If baseball does in fact launch this summer, there may be further discounts available on the football side should the first expansion into MLB cards come from existing Sorare managers. I’ll be covering a number of different leagues this way - writing posts on U23s, Team 24, and stars. I think there is more than enough coverage here already of GK, so please search the archives for GK scouting reports. I likely will limit summer coverage of Euro goalkeepers to transfer news, injury news and scouting promoted players. Please note - this was originally scheduled to publish Friday 13 May, so all stats referenced are through 36 matches for all La Liga clubs.
Play The Kids
This season there have been 155 players to get a La Liga appearance who will still have U23 eligibility next season, and beyond. From Getafe’s Juan Antonio Iglesias Sánchez (July 3, 1998) all way to Tomás Mendes, the 17 year old Alavés midfielder who has no Sorare cards and nine La Liga minutes through 36 matches, there are countless names to scout. Today I’m focusing on players with at least 1,000 minutes played - which cuts that list of 155 down to just 40. For today I’ve cut the age cap even further; all players included here are under 22 years old. The eldest is Vinicius Júnior, the first name cut was Bilbao’s 22 year old “midfielder” Oihan Sancet (0.133 Ξ), below.
In total, we’re covering 16 players plus a few other names who didn’t 1,000 this season.
