The goal of buying any Sorare card is to have a player produced for your SO5 at any given level for as long as possible. Targeting age 24 players provides the longest possible period to recoup your investment without having to pay the U23 premium. Of course, this trend has been noted, researched and proved by a number of Sorare analysts. The surest way to kill an inefficiency is to note it, and 24 year old’s pricing has been noted.
32 players currently playing in La Liga will enter next season at age 24 season will have had their 24th birthday before the June 30, 2022 cut-off of U23 eligibility. Not all of them are worth considering, and this group is short on elite talent. This time next season the list will be headlined by Jules Koundé and Ronald Araújo who are currently in the top 10 most valuable SO5 assets in La Liga (by L15). This season the biggest name in the group is Real Madrid’s Éder Militão, the 24 year old defender with a 3DA 1.025 Ξ and an L40:59, which is actually a bit low given some SO5 struggles to end the season.
Militão is the biggest name, and the highest priced by some distance, but there are other players a little lower on the food chain who are worth knowing, scouting and perhaps buying to fill specific needs on specific SO5. (Or just to buy on the cheap this summer with a hope of flipping early in the year when the SO5 scores reflect opportunity and continued development).
